preEvaluate

public Expression preEvaluate(ExpressionVisitor visitor)
                       throws XPathException

preEvaluate: this method suppresses compile-time evaluation by doing nothing. (this is because the default implementation of preEvaluate() calls evaluate() which is not available for these functions)
